Today is the first day in I don't know how long I have actually been able to spend the day in my craft room. We had our family pics taken this fall by Megan Klauer . I love all the photo Christmas cards that people send. But I wanted to make my own. I wanted to keep it simple because I send out close to 100 cards a year. I'm pretty happy with what I came up with.

Cousins
I love these two little faces!!! On days when things seem to go wrong all I have to do is look at them and I feel so much better. They are what is right in this crazy world!!!

On The Run
Projects are all done for the design team. Cards are all made that I needed. So I did a little scrappin page just for fun. I really need to take the time to do this more often. I take tons of pics but don't always take the time to scrap them. I took Khloe out Sat. morning and just let her run around the yard and snapped a few pics of her. It is so much fun to watch her!!

Card For A Friend
I have needed alot of cards lately. I made this cute and simple little card for an elderly friend of mine that recently had to move from her home to assisted living. I am hoping it will cheer her up and make her transition a little easier.

Missionary Card
Can you imagine being married for 40 yrs. How about spending 25 of those yrs. being missionaries in some places that most people would never want to go. I'm sure there had to be some stressful moments. This Sunday we will be celebrating both of those accomplishments with a couple that our church sponsors. I made this card to congratulate them on both of their successes.

June and July Projects
I am so technically challenged. I somehow changed my account info on my blog and have not been able to figure out what the heck I did. Finally today I took the time to mess with it and finally I'm back in!! :) So I have two months of projects to post.
First up is June:
I loved working with this line. I loved the versatility of it. Lakeside by Pebbles
Now for July: Where Ideas Take Root by FarmHouse Paper Co.

My Little Girl
Going through some pics and found Steph and Trav's wedding pics. Seems like she should still be my little girl and here she is married and now a mommy. One thing that never changes though is that once a Mom always a Mom and she will always be my little girl. I am so proud of the woman that she has become!!

March Projects
March was my first month on the design team for The Scrapbooking Studio. I am honored to be a part of it. Here are my projects using My Minds Eye. One of my favorite product lines.
My first layout is Khloe trying to eat Cheerios. I loved watching her trying to pick them up with her chubby little hands and then try to figure out how to get them in her mouth.
And my second layout is again Khloe. Proud Mawmaw here likes to show her off. :) I gave her my ipod one night to play with. I didn't actually have the music on but it sure made a cute picture.
And a cute little card.
And my altered project is a pickle jar to hold my Washi tape. My goal is to fill the jar.

Looking Good
Found these old pics of my Grandma Castor and I looking stylish in our "Cat Woman" glasses. I am so thankful to have been blessed to have her as my Grandma. She was a wonderful role model in my life.

The Story Behind My Hillbilly Shoes
I grew up in the south long before Duck Dynasty, Swamp People, or Ax Men made it popular. It wasn't always easy but it was the life we knew. When I moved to Illinois I worked really hard at losing my "accent " and trying to fit in.Now looking back it didn't change who I was or where I was from. I'm always just me and I'm proud of who I am and I'm proud to be a hillbilly in Illinois!

Peek-A-Boo
Khloe has learned how to play peek-a-boo. It is so much fun to watch her grow and learn. Those blue eyes and that smile will get her whatever she wants from Maw Maw!!
The Ride
Sleep around here is sometimes something that just doesn't happen. Don't ask me why because I don't really know. But there are nights that I just can't turn my brain off and drift off! Sometimes frustrating but this particular night I decided to look through some old pics. Found this one from our trip to Niagra Falls. Gotta give Steph tons of credit for riding all that way on the back of a sportster. Don't think she would do it again. But it was an awesome trip!!!
