Sad Day

Today is a sad day for me. I had to pack up my Slice and send it to Utah. I have been having problems with it cutting and we tried to calibrate it but it didn't work. So it is on it's way to either be repaired or replaced. I will try to go on without it while it is missing. But it will be difficult. I have to say though that each time I have called Making Memories about it the girls I have talked to have been extemely helpful and so sweet. So here is a shoutout to the girls of Making Memories. Thanks for your kindness and I appreciate all of your help.

Smile

And now for the ring bearer. This is my other cousins's little boy. Our family is blessed to have many young children. He was all about smiling and hanging out with the guys and then it came time to have his picture taken with Stephani and he was having no part of that. He's a cute little stinker but no matter what we tried he wasn't having a picture taken with the bride. haha

Blowing Bubbles

Couldn't resist these pictures of the little flower girl at Steph's wedding. She is my cousin's little girl and is absolutely adorable with all of those curls. She was working really hard to blow bubbles after the wedding. Aunt Megan caught the perfect moment. I used some dimensionals on the "bubbles" for Scrapaganza's dimension challange this month.

Winter Wonderland

The first layout of 2010. I just couldn't wait to go outside and take some pictures yesterday of the fresh snow. It was so beautiful. I took the oppurtunity today to scrap some of those pics. I am hoping this will get my mojo going for some future layouts.

Trendy Trees

I have been on a Trendy Trees binge lately. I just love this little stamp set from Stampin' Up. It is to cute and to fun. I would like to think that I am going to do a much better job of keeping up with my blog. I keep saying that and I just don't do it. No excuses now. Holidays are over and we sure can't go out and do much since we have fallen into the deep freeze of the midwest. So all I can say is I will try and thanks to my followers who check in now and then. Happy New Year everyone. Hope 2010 gets yours and my crafty ideas flowing.

At Last.............

Finally I found an adapter for my memory card and was able to upload all the pictures from my camera to my computer. Thank you to the helpful young man that helped me figure it out at Wal-Mart. So as I promised in my last post here is one of the cute things I have been working on latley. These are table favors for our Christmas Dinner on Christmas Day. I got the idea on Splitcoast Stampers. I am a true addict to that site. I love it. It is made like a matchbook and on the inside it holds a Ghirardelli candy bar.

Someday soon............

I have not been very successful at keeping up with my blog lately. First comp. was not cooperating so I got a new laptop. Problem solved. Then the night of Steph's wedding I dropped my camera. Sent it in to Sony and had it repaired. Problem solved. Well you would think so. But now my memory card won't fit in the new laptop. And I can't find the cord for the camera. So I am currently on the hunt for an adapter for the memory card or a cord for the camera. Meanwhile I have been creating some cute things I will be anxious to share when I figure this all out. So hopefully someday soon I will be posting again. I hope everyone is looking forward to the Holidays. I know I am. Have a great season and remember why this is such a special time of the year. Don't get so caught up in the hustle and bustle that you forget to enjoy your families and be thankful for our Lord's birth.
