Popcorn & A Movie

I love the time I get to spend with Jake and Zach. We usually try to do something special and Stephani usually joins in on the fun. They got out of school early not to long ago so we had a popcorn and movie afternoon.

I Hope You Dance

Children are truely a blessing. Jonathon was here for lunch today. I explained my camera dilema to him and he asked to look at it. He says there just has to be something that can be done to this. So he gets on the internet and looks up the camera and what it is doing. Someone who had the same problem said hit it on your knee six times. He did it and wolah. I now have a good as new camera. Turns out it was something to do with the focusing. Now to share a story and a page about Stephani. When she was in grade school I had gotten her the book and cd "I Hope You Dance." I told her that was my song to her. Every time we hear it on the radio we say Oh our song. The other day I was going through a drawer of stuff and I found this note she had written to me. I'm not sure how old she was but I think she must have been pretty young because of the spelling and such. I thought it would go perfect with a picture of her and Travis' first dance. I have great kids and am really blessed to have them.

Why??????

I am a total loser when it comes to electronics. Just when I am doing a decent job of keeping up with my blog my camera decides to die on me again. Now unfortunately the warranty is out and it will cost me $121.00 to get it fixed. argggghhhh. So I am on the lookout for a new camera. Any suggestions for a nice little pocket camera that takes good pictures for a decent price. Not looking to spend alot of money. Any advice would be apreciated.

Baking Day

I always have at least one day each year during the holidays that I bake cookies. Usually Stephani helps me. This year her friend Brandi helped out too. It ended up being a two day project instead of one. But we made alot of goodies.

Look what FedEx just delivered to my door. Not only did Making Memories replace my Slice with a new one. They also sent these goodies along to cover my shipping cost of sending the defective one to them. How great is that? They are truely the greatest customer service I have ever dealt with. Now I'm off to play.

My Grandmother was a very special woman. She had a big impact on my life in many ways. I have many fond memories of time spent with her. One of the things my Grandma loved was her "hootie owls." She collected them from alot of places. So when I first seen this Megan Klauer feltie I knew somehow I would do a page of our Grandma using it.

All Aboard

Steph and I had alot of fun taking the boys to the zoo this summer. I have to come to realize that I need to be challanged or else I tend to slack off. So I did this layout for the sketch challange over at Pagemaps.
