Decorating the Tree

Decorating the tree this year was alot different for us. Both kids are gone and Steve actually helped put the ornaments on. I had to take a picture of him because he usually puts the lights on and is done. I think he might have liked it alittle and hopefully will help next year too!!

Crazy @ Christmas

Our Christmas Eve is always crazy. A few hot totties for the body and everyone is having a good time. All the excitment in the air and good food and time with family and friends. This year Stephani decided to take pictures of everyone making silly faces. We had so much fun laughing at eachother. We might have to do it every year. I hope you all had a great Christmas with whoever is hanging off of your tree!!!!

Frost & Snow

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!! One more layout using my TSM kit. I love these two trees in my front yard. The way the sun comes through them in the morning. I have taken several pictures of them at different times of the year. I thought this paticular morning they looked espically beautiful with the frost and snow. Played around with the tint and loved them all so I decided to use them all. I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Wonderful New Year!!!!

Coffee and Cheesecake

Did a quick layout with the TSM December kit. I love Cheesecake. Haven't found one yet that I didn't like. Recently had two chances to enjoy the guilty pleasure. One turtle and one death by chocolate. Unfortunately as with other things I have brought my daughter down with me. She is hooked too. One of our things we would like to do one of these days is go to a major bookstore on a snowy day and drink coffee and look at books for hours. Although we didn't get to stay for hours while we were Christmas shopping we did take the time to enjoy a cup of coffee and a slice of cheesecake at Barnes and Nobles. It doesn't show up well in the picture but one of the stamped images is the saying "Remember stressed spelled backwards is desserts." Sounds like a good motto to me!!

Winter In The Woods

Although we didn't get many deer down during the recent shotgun season I did get some pretty pictures while out in the woods on stand. There is something peaceful about being in the woods after a fresh snow. I just stood there and looked around and thought what probably goes on in the woods when there is no one around.

Thanksgiving

We were so happy to have our nephew Ben and his fiance Erika home from Texas for Thanksgiving. It was a suprise for most of the family. Steph and I knew it and had to keep it quiet. We had such a great time and got to know Erika better. I love the holidays and it is even better when family gets to enjoy it with you!!

November TSM

After my month of gratefullness I finally got a layout done with my November TSM kit. When I seen this paper I knew I had the perfect pictures to go with it. When we take our motorcycle trips the one thing we don't do is worry about where we are going or when we are going to get there. It is so nice to be able to enjoy the trip and not have to rush and worry if we are behind schedule. I think everyone should try taking a no destination trip. Just see where the road leads you.

Thinking of You

Today would have been my Grandpa's 95th birthday. It has been three years & I still miss him sooo much. He was the kindest, gentlest, humblest man I have ever known. I don't think there will ever be anyone else like him in my life. I love this picture Megan took of him. I have it framed, I have scrapped it and I am posting it again today because it just captures the person he was. Quiet and thoughtful just sitting back and enjoying the moment. There are so many things I could say about him. He was a wonderful man and he still is a big part of my life and how I wish I could be more like him!!!!!
