Well ladies I hope you all have your May mojo going. Tomorrow is May 1st. It seems impossible but it's true. We will go Fri. to Fri. with weekly drawings and the grand prize drawn on Sun. the 31st. There are 10 challanges. You can do all 10 or you can do 8. There will be two per week. But you decide which two you want to do. There is no particular order. With that said here they are:
#1- Blue Collar Comedy- Pick your fav. Blue Collar comedian and his catch phrase such as: Jeff Foxworthy: You might be a Redneck if. Bill Engvall: Here's your sign. Ron White: Things that make you go bahh. Larry the Cable Guy: That's funny I don't care who you are. Or if you like something else they have said. Go crazy.
#2-Count your blessings: We all have something we have been blessed with. Share your blessing.
#3-April Showers Bring May Flowers:Scrap a page using pictures of flowers or flowers as embellishments or scrap a picture with rain.
#4-Black and White:Use a black and white photo or mix color and black and white.
#5-Anything but scrapbooking:Do something creative besides a scrapbook page. Make a card or anything crafty.
#6-Calander page(day, month, year):Let us know your schedule. Let us in on your crazy life.
#7-Die cut page:I think most of us have a die cutting machine of some sort. If not use purchased die cuts.
#8-Cover page:Make a layout look like a magazine cover. I think Cosmopolitan's website has a place you can make a cover or make your own.
#9-Your ocd:What is it that drives you crazy. Your pet peeve.
#10-And last but not least Your fav. childhood memory:It could be your fav. toy as a child or a special occasion that happened when you were a child.
So there they are. I hope I have not repeated any that we have already done. I tried to look back and check. Let's have fun. Can't wait to see what you all come up with.

One of the things in my family is that most of the girls have to wear glasses. Not many of the boys. Not quite sure how they lucked out. But the one thing that Me, My sister Christy, Stephani and her daughter Derian have in common is that we all have a Lazy Eye. The paper is October Afternoon. The title is Thickers. And I used the Xyron Design runner. I can't believe this month is over. Thanks Lisa for a fun month.

Several years ago we decided to find the Boy Scout Camp outside of Reynolds. I found these pictures the other day and thought good picture I think I'll scrap it. The paper is from The Green Stack. The tag, the eyelets and the twill are Stampin' Up. Thickers and Colorbok letters. My Mind's Eye sticker and tag and the other fun stuff was cut out with my Slice.

As I have mentioned before I feel that my life is so blessed that I had a hard time coming up with a bucket list. So I decided to do a travel log of places I would like to go. Now I know I won't get to go to them all if any but that's ok too. Steve informed me after I had done this lo. that there is not a north coast of the U.S. but I beg to differ. The Great Lakes are big bodies of water. The paper is Best Occasions. Other embellies are: Thickers, Fancy Pants card, and Making Memories tag sheet.
Ok girls. Not to scare anyone but May 1 is one week from today. I had said that I would do the May challanges. I know that this time of the year can get really busy. Yard work, ballgames and just plain summertime fun. So I didn't know if you wanted to do a May challange or wait until fall. I have the challanges planned out so it doesn't matter at all to me. Do you want to take a look at them and then decide or just wait. Let me know. I don't care either way.

I hope everyone had a great Easter. This is my layout for Lisa's April challange.(Easter bonus). The paper is Cosmo Cricket. The flowers and tag were cut with my Slice. My hubby let me get an early Mother's Day/ Birthday present. Isn't he the best. Actually I think he is breathing a sigh of relief because now he doesn't have to worry about it. The title is Cosmo Cricket and Thickers.

My absolute favorite song is "Remember When" by Alan Jackson. Who hasn't lived that song. I heard it on the radio the other day and thought it would be a good theme for my 9x9 page. Once I started I couldn't decide where to stop so it turned in two 9x9 pages. It seems like these were yesterday. The paper is Me & My Big Ideas. Other supplies are K & Company, Cloud 9, Thickers, Stampin' Up, Bingo card (thanks Christine) and other random buttons and letters.

OK I told Lisa last night that telling a paper addict not to use pattern paper is like taking an alcoholic into a bar and telling him not to drink. But I think I pulled it off. The paper is Stampin' Up. The rub-ons are Rusty Pickle and Stampin' Up. The numbers are Thickers. And the original Cupcake feltie by Megan Klauer.

When I first seen this challange I thought oh no. What do I know about quilting? I don't even sew buttons on hardly. As far as I knew buttons were for scrapbooking. But I am not one to pass up a challange so here it is. I just cut strips of paper and layed it out and used Martha Stewart ribbon for my "binding." It turned out to be fun. The paper, tag and letters are S.E.I. The card is Fancy Pants and the leaf is a Megan Klauer feltie. The pictures are when Megan and I had the chance to go to Holland, Michigan to a Stampin' Up Card Swap. I'm not quite sure what was so funny (that was to long ago to remember). We had a great time.

I had so much fun in March doing all the challenges that I just couldn't wait to start on April. So here is my layout for Lisa's tag challenge. Some of you may recognize the picture of my Grandma. Megan used it a couple of days ago in one of her lo's. I already had this done so I am using it again. Our grandparents were very special people and I could make them a topic of alot of my lo's . The paper is My Mind's Eye. The tags are Making Memories & Stampin' Up. The letters are Making Memories, Lemongrass and Thickers.
I got a few goodies from Christina the other night. So I decided to play with some today. Cosmo Cricket rocks my world. Of course you all know that I am a paper addict. My pictures aren't the greatest. They were taken way back in 1987. Before digital so you got what you got. But still a great memory. And Jonathon was so darn cute. My inspiration below is from Page Maps.
